Laryngology and Phonosurgery

Department of laryngology and Phonosurgery deals with medical and surgical management of diseases associated with voice swallowing and upper airway. we are providing professional voice care and therapy for voice professionals like teachers musicians speakers advocates etc. we are providing treatment for vocal cord diseases like vocal cord nodules, muscle tension dysphonia, spasmodic dysphonia, vocal cord polyps, cysts, sulcus, vocal cord palsy and other malignant lesions. Specialised training and therapy for professional singles are also available. Diagnostic procedures like direct laryngoscopy (70 degree and 90 degree), flexible laryngoscopy, flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing(FEES), singing laryngoscopy are also available in the Laryngology outpatient department. Swallowing disorders related to neurological conditions, post neurosurgery, head and neck malignancies, head and neck surgeries, post radiation are managed under the dysphagia unit. Paediatric and adult airway assessment and management and airway surgeries tracheostomy care and management of snoring and OSA also being done.
