CONVENTIONAL ADENOTONSILLECTOMY
Adenotonsillectomy is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of the adenoids and tonsils. This operation is commonly performed in children but can also be indicated in adults. The primary goals are to treat chronic infections, obstructive sleep apnea, and other related conditions.
Indications
- Recurrent tonsillitis or adenoiditis (multiple infections per year).
